2024 is a very special year for Wicklow Volunteer Centre as it marks our 20th Anniversary! Back in 2004, we began the important work of linking volunteers with community organisations and groups in County Wicklow. Volunteers have very important roles all over our county. They help our not-for-profit organisations and groups provide and expand their invaluable services to community members throughout the county.
Volunteering affects us all, either directly or indirectly. There are so many amazing organisations all over Wicklow working tirelessly behind the scenes, with minimal funding solely for the benefit of others and their communities. Without volunteers so many services would just cease to exist, volunteers really are incredible.
The volunteering community in Wicklow is diverse, passionate, and dedicated. We are so proud to be a part of this and we can not wait to see what the next 20 years bring. Thank you to all our volunteers, groups, and organisations…..you are amazing!
