Hike for Hospice – Glen to Glen

22th October 2023 was a beautiful Hike for Hospice – Glen to Glen.

The Hike Glen to Glen took place on the morning of Sunday, October 22nd, and it was a fantastic experience. The route took hikers through the picturesque Glendalough and Glendassan valleys. It was a moderately challenging 12-kilometer hike, so participants needed to be reasonably fit. Experienced guides led the hike, and maps were provided to ensure everyone stayed on the right path.

The meeting point was at the Laragh Carpark, and registration began at 9:30 am. The hike started at 10 am. After completing the hike, refreshments were served in the carpark, and each participant received a Certificate of Achievement as a memento.

This event was officially licensed by Wicklow Mountains National Park, and due to the limited number of participants allowed on the hike, registration closed once capacity was reached. Walkers were not allowed to register on the day if the event was full.

As an added bonus, participants received a free T-shirt on the day!
