Community Volunteers Events 2026

Role 1: Volunteers will assist in setting up for the Black Castle event. They will also greet and collect donations at the entrance to Black Castle from 2:45 to 3:30 pm. This shift requires manual work.

Role 2: Volunteers will be assigned to assist with one or more of the following tasks outlined below during their shift. Wicklow Pride will provide additional detailed instructions for each role at least 10 days before the event.

● Grounds Crew - Use bags provided to pick up any rubbish on the ground and put it in rubbish bins. Check and refill toilet tissue and hand sanitiser.

● Fun Zone - Monitor the bouncy castle and games area. Assist with sign-ups and ticket sales for bouncy castles.

● Wicklow Pride Tent - Assist with selling Wicklow Pride raffle tickets and/or merchandise

● Floater - Monitor the cliff barricade area and provide breaks to people in other areas.

● Clean-up - Assist with taking down tables and tents for the event. (last hour only)
