On March 7, we organised a special event for displaced people from Ukraine residing in Baltinglass. The gathering involved crafting felt hearts and lovely conversations over tea. We aimed to provide not only creative engagement but also a comforting space. Through this event, we introduced attendees to our Community Volunteers Program. It proved to be a highly productive day, resulting in the addition of five new volunteers to our Community Volunteers team. Additionally, some people expressed interest in volunteering for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Day helpers team in the local community. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and support shown by everyone involved.
