2024 began with a meeting with potential volunteers from Ukraine currently living in Bray and Wicklow Town.
In our presentation we informed all attendees about the benefits of volunteering in their new communities and gave examples of the type of roles and organisations they could volunteer with as well as information on where to access free English conversation classes. We also told everyone about the online directory Wicklow Community Directory where they could get additional information on voluntary organisations, clubs and agencies and education providers across Co. Wicklow – and the activities, services and supports they provide in the local community.
