Wicklow & Leinster Fleadh 2024

The Fleadh Cheoil is a series of music competitions organized by Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann to promote and preserve Traditional Irish Music, Song, Dance, and the Irish language.

The Leinster Fleadh, also known as Fleadh Laighean, is held annually. Competitors qualify by participating in their respective county fleadhanna, with twelve such events occurring throughout the province. Beyond being a music competition, the Fleadh is a celebration of traditional Irish culture and heritage.

The Leinster Fleadh draws around 3,000 visitors each year, including competitors of all ages. Our Community Volunteers have been an integral part of the event, assisting with directions to various active locations, keeping safety doors open, cleaning tables and showing the way to car parks.
