I began as a volunteer with the Bray Camera Club in 1970. This was followed by volunteering as a Cub Scout leader for 5th Wicklow Scouts until 1985.
From 1977, I have been an active member of the Bray Cualann Historical Society and have served in the roles of secretary, treasurer and chairperson.
In the early 2000’s, I managed my son’s football team for 3 years.
In 2025, I was presented with a lifetime achievement award by the Bray Chamber of Commerce.
